No, the 2 aluminum colored siderails in the middle of the engine unbolt.

Well that and the fuel injection and all the wires and it just seems like a long job just to take out a motor.

I ride a Cannondale....meaning, I WORK on a Cannondale...... In other words, the Can-Am can't be that bad to get the motor out of, haha.

Meh.. I doubt it's much more work than unhooking a carb, tps, cdi, wire harness, etc.. from a TRX450R.

O yea you gotta take out so much crap just to get fuel injected motors out.....wire madness! Or at least on an ltr.

I remember reading that it should take no longer than the other machines??? Of course, I'm sure if you do it enough times, you find the little 'secrets' to doing it and become proficient at it.

We took the motor out of my buddies LTR and is wasnt much worse than dropping the motor on a YFZ or TRX. A few more connectors was about it, nothing drastically more difficult or time-consuming.

That's what I was thinking. It's not like you're cutting wires and resplicing them together. You're just disconnecting wire harness plugs. Do it a couple times, and it would probably be pretty simple.

How many EFI wires are connected to the "motor" anyway. Disconnect the throttlebody, pull the plug wire, disconnect breather tubes, disconnect the stator wires, pull off the exhaust, disconnect the radiator, pull out a side rail, and yank the motor.
