the fcr carb i bought has bigger ends then my stock 300 rubber boots.
i have been told to mill my carb down . but was wondering what any of you have done???

i know i need to run a dif cable . i cant wait to get it on so lets hear it!!

Use a 400EX air boot. You will need to modify your airbox but you can make it work.

the boot at the motor side you mean? i can mod the aircleaner side .

i used one of those exhaust adaptors you get from the autot parts store,i then cut it down so the carb wouldnt be too far from the head..You'll have to trim both sides to fit,use the size that has the tightest fit on the carb,use a tad bit of bonding agent and it'll stay on the carb,i havent had a problem.

you mean the galvy ones? did you use the yfz throttle cable also?
howd you like the performance?
ive been told to run 165 main with 50 pilot.
what you running??

yes you run the yfz throttle cable,as far as the jetting goes it depends on your set up,i have a 385 kit in minemim actually running like a 148 main if i remember right,your may be different.I used the exhaust pieces from autotzone,they sell them in the "muffler tip"section.Take your carb wit'ya to match it up.
