what a retard freereving a quad like that to the limiter is one of the worst things you can do to a quad with ti valves.at least let the oil get up there my god!

i weighed all the stuff i took off and it was around 11 or 12 lbs i think and the kit is around $500

I just cant see advantage over electric start,a few pounds compared to a few seconds in race is big deal, time & distance hard to make up than a few pounds on quad that would net you millions of a second in lap time if thats what this quad is for, unless you are lighting it for freestyle ,but thats cool that you can put kick start on it though!And you said 10-12 pounds came off how much weight went back on?

He was saying that the stuff he took OFF was 12lbs and that is quite a bit for MX when you add in all the other stuff you removed to lighten up the machine

what i was trying to say is how much weight is the kickstart kit weigh. And why dont Gust,wimmer,weiman have this on theres? maybe they do but didnt see on there quads , the race I watched on TV.

and the advantage of having a kick is it looks cooler when your kicking the bike, IMO :cool: haha
