I think I'm finally about ready to drop some cash on a 400ex. I went to the dealer today and he has 2 2002's left. One yellow and one Red. I have the hold/sold sign on the red one. They are asking $5195 plus tax and $95 for freight I think. So when all is done I'm looking at like 5600 out the door. You guys think this is cool are should I try and get em' down some more since it's an 02?? Let me know what ya think!!

well if you want my 2 cents here it is,

i wouldnt get, if it were me i would wait until next year then maybe honda will come out with a new 450, hopefully:rolleyes: , or get a dale or something. you have got to realize that 400 are far inferior to almost anything out there now, and dales are prolly the best way to go, it took we awhile to believe but soon everyone will.

but that is just what i think, so dont listen to me.

I think its way to high personally. I think there was or is a dealer in chicago selling 03 400ex's for 4400 OTD. You should definitely be able to find some cheaper than that.

I paid $5000 in July of this yr for my 02. OTD.

I'd say $5,000 with full chassie skid plates or no deal, lol. Get it as cheep as you can but don't over do it.

At Tousley (a dealer around here) they are sellin 02's for 4799.

I think it's high too. Personally I would get something else. Everyone has a 400ex and the one's who don't are faster. 400's are great bikes, but like exriderdude said they are inferior. I would hold off or look at something else. If you really want the 400, get him to come down.

The 400ex is still a wicked quad! I just bought mine 2 weeks ago! I know its not new but, I gotta pay for school next year.... Don't wait for Honda's new quad or it will never be here! Get the price down for sure! You will love it!

Thanx for your help guys. I'm gonna see if I can get them for $4800 - $5000 otd. If not there are more dealers out there. I'm sure I will get what I want and pay what I want.:D

in mid march i i bought an 02 from a dealer in oklahoma for $5,099 OTD. that guys uncle also sells puads here in vegas and he wanted $6.049.:huh
