reverse lever

I'm wanting to move my reverse knob off the fender to a lever on the bars. Thinking that a thumb lever would be nice on the clutch side.

Has anyone done this?

You can do this using the parts from the 300EX. Depending on the year of your 400 you already have the clutch perch that is made for 3 cables (pull back your rubber boot and see if you have 3 holes and slots).

Honda ARM, REVERSE ASSIST for 2003 Honda TRX300EX 53182-HC0-000 $12.96

Honda BOLT, CABLE ADJ. for 2003 Honda TRX300EX 53192-268-000 $5.22

Honda NUT, FIXING for 2003 Honda TRX300EX 90321-315-670 $5.53

ALSO, someone has used the Dr. D Reverse lever kit, it is made for Yamaha and Suzukis, but I have read you can use it with a 300EX reverse cable. It mount on the Throttle side and is neat that it replaces the front brake perch back mount.
