okay guy u all already told me i think but i making for sure my papaws buddy has been in the engine buliding 4 over 40years but cars and crap and i asked him about that 250x bottom end im dropping in the ole 300m he said that i wouldnt run right with that shorter stroke wont have no power or nothing but im having my top end 40 over so idk guys tell me and have any of you all done this conversion for your self or know some body who has thanks

you can use a 250x bottom end as long as you use a 250x piston.

i always understood that the 250x piston and 300ex piston was the same dang that sucks cause i ordered a 40 over piston from wiesco for a 300ex and had my jug bored out 2 match it at the local quad shop

you can run it but it may have a bit less compression,if its a 11 to 1 wiseco for a 300ex,it will be higher than the stock 250x compression just not 11 to 1 though;)
