I have noticed that a lot of people have the HMF slip ons. I currently have a DR.D slip on and have been wondering if the HMF is a better exhaust and wanted to know the kind of power the produce. Also if anyone out there has a sound clip of one that would be great too.

the hmf will definatley give you more power. pu a filter on and jet it and you'll be set.

So many of these slip ons out there are basically the same thing. Don't waste your money.

Is there any major difference between the HMF and the white brothers E-series. And BTW I only have the SS series of Dr.D pipe

IMO The E-series is not worth getting unless your upgrading to a full system. Power gains would be min. if you just switch to the slip on.

hmf are very loud! get ready. I get alot of weird looks! But the power they produce is really nice. I really like mine. In fact im selling my slip on and putting the full exhaust on.

I had a WB e-series and switched to a HMF slip on and I couldn't tell a difference in power but I could in noise

Here's a picture and a couple links to video clips of my HMF Slip-On in action. Both are with the quiet core installed. It's right around 97dcb with the quiet core installed and 102dcb with it removed. California has pretty strict noise laws I can legally drive it on OHV land.

Thanks hornet I really like the sound of the HMF over the Dr.D I have now and the sound level is important as that I am only about an hour south of you

With the quiet core installed it's not bad at all. I love the sound. With the quiet core removed, it's sure to bother some people.

If you plan on getting a quiet core you definitely have no need to by an HMF. You won't see any gains over your Dr. D.
