I am new to the lt 80. I got one that was suposed to be locked up and after bout an hour of tinkering found that the starter was froze to the flywheel. got it all freed up but compression almost non existant. piston has small burn out in side to first ring, rings def. worn but it did run for me. what is the stock piston and bore size

50mm.
You need to go to 50.5
Use Suzuki piston/parts. :)

Yes it'll need to be taken to a shop that does cylinder boring (should be about $40).
The LT seems to run forever. I've got cylinders in that the next size piston would fit in.
Measuring is the only real way to tell but expierience tells me that ...
1) it's wore more than it looks.
2) might as well do it right the first time. Much cheaper in the long run.

moveable face with the rollers, do you know if or where to find
a complete unit? I've done som surfin and can only find individual components
