So I put new plastics on my quad, and my steering stem was rubbing the front of the gas tank plastic, and this is why.

mine was liek that, but not as bad

i just bent it back, well see what happens but im not heavy enough imo to really bend it

When I first got the quad I really had bad luck with rolling it over and stuff like that. I probably had it upside down at least 5 times in the first month I had it. Well it's all better now and I have been good with keeping it on all four wheels. Well at least two. Unless I'm ramping of course :)

Unfortunately I'm every bit of 200lbs. So it's not hard for me to bend and break things, especially handlebars. Good thing is that I've got enough meat on my to man handle it in the air.

OEM stems are very very weak. When I had my 400, I went through 3, looking back now, after the first one broke, thats right, broke!! I should of just bought an aftermarket stem that was stronger.......you live and you learn. :)

Yea I think if I bend or break this one I'm going to go with an after market one. I just got a new OEM because I wanted to put more money into my shocks and motor work.

Yep thats how mine was bent also and I got two gouges in my IMS tank to prove it I was ticked, and theres a few on my tank cover as well funny thing is when I took my stem off I turned it upside down a piece of a chisel came out of it kinda wierd I thought.
