Has anyone ever seen the Carbon Fiber replacement warning labels from Carbon Covers??

I know it is purely a visual thing, just curious if anyone has seen them in person.

I have some and they are nice. I have one ride and one cleaning on them and they have held up great. I'll try to post pictures soon.

Please do! I am curious to see how they hold up in the real ATV world.

Jacob at Carbon Covers just sent me a quick picture of the Carbon Fiber Warning Label replacements I designed before he shipped them.

He does GREAT work!

I know Carbon Fiber doesn't photogragh well and these should look even better in person.

Sure it's a purely frivolous addition, but all in fun!!

I sent him the rough design, he make it look right and created the decals(I supplied the factory Honda HRC decal), then applied the decals to real carbon fiber, then put a thick clear coat over it for protection.

Cost was $67 to my door.

Just to give you an idea, here is the "artwork" and direction I sent him last week, 4 days later he shipped them out.

The Carbon Fiber covers arrrived today as promised! The packaging was amazing, all the pre-made holes line up perfectly, and the included hardware is very nice!

Here are a few quickie pics. Rear one is just laying there, will mount it later today.

As you can imagine carbon fiber is hard to photograph, the pics don't do them any justice compared to seeing them in person...

You should see it in person!! AND the carbon fiber matches very closely the carbon fiber on my new Yoshi!!!

Oh, price for all 3 was $67 delivered. You can chose from their logos or send them your own artwork.

Shameless plug, but they deserve it..

all i have got to say is "unique!" you have something that completely sets your 400 apart from the rest, well besides it being the only 08 i have seen on this site lol. you're building an amazing quad. it looks great, and it keeps getting better. keep it up!

Here is one that shows how similar the Carbon Fiber on the Yoshi is to the carbon covers (note "HRC" carbon cover upper right).

In person it looks even closer.

That pipe looks sweet.....where is the best place to get a yoshi pipe like that?

What did you use to secure them? They don't look riveted. I'm guessing 3M double sided trim tape. I'm thinking about getting a custom set myself. I'm curious how they would hold up to soft rivets.

Leesons Motors on Ebay. They have a "Best Offer" on their Ebay Auction for those. Even thou they have them listed for $599 with free shipping you can do a Best offer for around $450-460 and the will take it., at least they did for me.

They include nice small stainless screws/washer/nuts to bolt them in place using the existing holes from the rivets. If you look close you can see them in the photos.

They look like whites holes and not screws. I thought it was light shining through. Screws, nuts and washers are even better. This is very tempting.

Don't bring that up, these guys will want me to put one on my 400 :-) Plus, I am too far behind supplying the current demand with my customers to start that project.

Turbos??? Come on, real men don't use hairdryers

AutoRotors are my weapon of choice.. and much easier to say!!

Well all I can say to that, is that if you are going to HAVE to use one of "those things", that you,at least, picked the right one.

AND sorry for the post hijack, but it looked the damage had already been done.

They're probably the worst customer service I've ever dealt with when dealing online, but I finally received my 'stickers' from carboncovers.net yesterday. Holy cr@p, these things are AWESOME! 08400EX, you were right when you said the pictures you posted didn’t do them justice. The quality is top notch. I plan on putting them on this weekend and I'll take some pics then.
