wiseco piston ???

i'm looking at wiseco pistons and non of the discriptons say anything about comp so are they all stock comp or somthing?

The pistons are pretty much the same in relation to being a "stock" design.You change the compression by setting up the squish (the distance between the piston @tdc and the dome of the head).This can be done several ways on a 250R.The easiest way to get more compression is to use thinner head head gaskets.This closes the squish distance.There are several different gasket setups that work well for this.You can also have the head milled and the dome cut.With a cool head setup, you simply change the domes to raise/lower the compression.Unless you have some specialized setup(CT used a different piston on some of their kits) the wiseco,pro-x,etc... pistons are what you will need.
