Paddy's was a blast in Jeeps, but I never liked that place on a sport bike. It was either muddy, dusty, or both. Turkey is a great place to ride, but watch them for cancellations due to rainfall. SMR, I know you're not a fan of it, but Linton really is a great place to ride. It sucks to get past the lake and the bottoms area, but once you get past the mud, It has plenty of hills and spots to blaze your own trail to make it a blast.

I wouldn't joke about a riding area closing down. That is just mean. Supposedly they were going to be open for 5-6 events for 2008 and then it was put on the site it is closed for good shortly after I had heard that.

I hate to see riding areas close down.

Linton. It's close to LBL. Linton, KY is I think Trigg County. No Website. Went to a race at lynnville In. awhile back. I think they have some sort of bike group that allows quads every now then.

Your most likely thinking of Gregory's lake in Muhlenburg county. It's about 60 miles north of Clarkesville tn close to Drakesboro, ky.

Good riding and I think it's only like $10 a day.

not much to tell. It's between Drakesborro and Greenville. You can't miss the sign.

It has a really nice campground with water and electric hook ups. Great place to take kids. If you camp they don't even charge you for riding.

here's a link.

WHAT`S UP WITH NEW RIDING AREA NEAR LYNNVILLE,IN?

pitsrule
12-06-2008, 07:34 PM
lynnville has been around for a long time...it was closed and just recently opened back up to the public. also referd to as Spurgeon or Interlake. Its free to ride as well...you just have to have your quad or bike registered with the state. Search the web for interlake indiana and you will find more information. Its pretty good riding..good hills and a lot of trails. Some single track to for the bike guys. It can all be ridden in one day if you know where the trails are....the site online has a map of the trails. In the middle of summer it is crazy dusty!! I live in Evansville Indiana so its only 45 minutes away from me..I ride it a lot and never get tired of it...Just got back from turkey bay about two hours ago.....honestly it was fun but the some of the hills at Interlake are way more challenging. Yeah the hills at Turkey Bay are long and rough...but the ones at Interlake are tall and steep...If your within a couple hour drive its worth checking out at least once...
