Ya, we sell Hermann stuff. Yes, we are closed on saturday's due to racing schedules.

I think herrmann sells them for $499 plus shipping for any of their 250r a arms.. I know they were letting you pc them any color not sure about chrome though..

like **** it does, how you figure it is just beadblasted and then chorme paint is thrown onit and cooked onto it it same as red pc or black pc and etc.

actually i think it does weaken the metal i think cause of the process the gsses inside the tubes from chroming like carodes it from the inside out don't hold me to this though:D

Chrome does weaken metal. It adds carbon to the steel which makes it more brittle. Its kinda why welding on stuff makes it weak.

If the chrome is not applied correctly yes it traps gases,,but if it's done right then it will add strength. Do you guys know what your sockets are coated with??? It's not play-doe..:eek: So if chrome weakens metal then why do tools that get put thru he11 have chrome coatings on them????

To look nice and prevent rust. The socket with a chrome is strong enough for normal use. I have broke plenty of chrome sockets and wrencheds. Why do you think Impact sockets don't have a chrome finish. They take a hella of a lot more abuse than a normal socket and they last longer.
