View Full Version : Wiring fan to always on?

Ive heard a few ppl say how they wired it up. I race motocross so it would only b runnin for a short ammount of time. Can wiring the fan up so it runs wen the key is on bad for the bike.Any suggestions.

I broke my temp sensor putting on a rear shock (remote ressie) I took the wire directly to ground that made it run all the time, it didn't seem to hurt it, but I had and 05. Z.

actually yeah i kno a kid that wired his fan up on a z400 lol.....he has a 450r now but its in pieces for winter rebuild so he dono how at the moment

All you have to do is ground the wire that connects to the sensor that is in the thermostat housing.

yup.. been running mine that way for over a year. still hasnt burnt out.
