WTB low priced 250R motor!!

hey guys, lookin for a Honda 250R motor any years 85-89. Does not have to be in running condition, only looking to pay round $400 at most. Thanx.

well the coil worked for about 15mins, i think the stators on the fritz i really dont know wtf it is started up and now back to no spark i think there has got to be a short somewhere took of the stator cover and all looks fine from what i can see as far as wires go, i dont have the correct flywheel puller so i will have to hold off on that. i dont know why one second it runs next it dosnt.

And as for the motor maybe i would sell it i need to go pick it up its sitting down in my buddys basement. i think he may have honed the cyl, it didnt look do bad just a bit of surface rust, from what he said i didnt even look at it. and why do you need the motor another project in the works?

Try Bill at 352-208-7100-he had about 4 or 5 of these engines at one time.I don't know if you'll get one that cheap though.
