Those are the Fat Peg Nerfs, the Sport Series looks like this...

thats incorrect. The older sport series are like that i know because i have them too. Fat pegs you would see the fatpegs and they look a little different

If your buying, spend the extra cash if you can, and buy the fat pegs, they are well worth it.

X2 it will be well worth it. I wish I had them but hey I cant complain considering I made a starigt up trade with my friend my stock heel guards for the pro armor nerf bars. I love having friends like that.

no I just have really good friends. He helped me buy my 400ex by looking everywhere for the best deal and making sure the motor and everything was in great shape. The next morning after I got my 400ex he brought over some nerf bars and said here you can have these if you want just give me the stock heel guards so i have something to put on. The 1 was pretty bent but I straightened it out and almost good as new. When my brother blew up his 400ex my friends all pitched in and bought him a brand new motor!

I ordered a set earlier this last week...they should be in shortly.

I have the sport series on my 450R and the are shaped like the models with heel guards. I called pro armor wondering about it and it seems that they will be the shape that is shown in the linked pictures.

I don't know if I will put them on right away as I pulled down the motor today for 416 12.5:1 pistons and cylinder studs....plus I never cleared the purchase with my buddy who actually owns the bike...just leaves it at my place and I mod it up...hand him the bill...

I will try and post some pics later this week if I have time...I have to put a new motor in my sled and that takes precedence...

thanks man , you won't even need to post pics as soon as you get them just tell us when they arrive what shape they have , if they are like the pic linked . Because on rocky mountain the heel part sticks outward , witch doesn look too good . They may have just used a random pic . But pics installed could be nice . hehe :cool:

I recieved the nerf bars....

The sport series that I got are the same shape as the ones pictured with the heel guards...not the shape of the ones posted in this thread unmounted.

I had even called Pro Armor about this and was VERY hesitant to order them...I wanted the same shape as the ones on my 450R...which I got....Very Happy!!!!!

here is mine i am very happy with them they arent really wide and dont stick out past the rear wheels so they dont look like wings on an airplane. it helped stregthen the frame some.

They look like the link picture in the back...the fronts are a different shape that bolt up to the rear a-arm mount.

I HAVE PURCHASED THE PRO ARMOR NERFS WITHOUT THE HEEL GUARDS. CAN ANYONE SUGGEST A SET OF HEEL GUARDS. OR CAN I JUST USE THE STOCK GUARDS?

Hence the reason I included the Pro Armor part numbers...make sure you use these when you order...

WITH THOSE PICS WON'T YOU HAVE 2 REMOVE THE STOCK HEEL GUARDS IN ORDER TO USE THAT STYLE OF NERF BARS?

I haven't had anything with stock heelguards on it for more than an hour or so...
