I took my carburator apart today and cleaned it. I forgot to put the little round plastic piece over the main jet under the float bowl. Is that needed? Will it run just fine without it? I just dont want to take it all back apart if it isnt really needed. Thanks:confused:

I would take it apart and put it in. Im sure it was there for a reason, im not sure what it does but it has to do something otherwise it wouldnt be in there.

i did the same thing, i ended up putting it back in there. i recommend doing it. because why would honda just randomly put a piece of plastic in a carb. it probably is spose to be there... good luck with what ever you decide to do.

I was told that all it is for is to help stop some of the splashing of the gas. doesnt really do much. Im going to try it without it and see. I dnt feel like going through the hassle of taking it all back apart. Grrrr Damn brain of mine. lol.. thanks for the advice though guys..

In bumpy situations it keeps the motor from falling on its face....

its there so the gas dont splash around so the jets dont suck air but if its not low on gas... it will be ok
