Raptor 250 For Adults

CAN ADULTS RIDE THESE FOR TRAIL RIDING? MY LOCAL DEALERS DONT HAVE ANY. A DIRTBIKE INJURY FORCED ME FROM MY YZ250. MY WIFE HAS A 2006 TRX300, I LIKE IT AND IT WOULD SUIT MY NEEDS BUT I HAVE READ ALOT OF GOOD REVIEWS ABOUT THE 2008 RAPTOR 250'S. ONCE AGAIN I AM LOOKING FOR SOMETHING TO TRAIL RIDE ON WITH MY WIFE AND DAUGHTER. ALSO ANY OPINIONS HOW THIS MOTOR WILL HOLD UP COMPARED WITH THE TRX300. I AM 5"11 AND WEIGH 200. THANKS

I am about your size and the blaster felt very cramped compared to the 300. The raptor 250 is about the same size as a blaster...maybe a little roomier. I would say a 300ex is about the smallest I would want to go and still be comfortable especially on long trail rides. For the money the 400ex is the best bargain out there right now and it's perfect for trails...plus it's a bit more roomy than the 300. I think you would be happier with the powr of the 400 after coming off a yz250.

i'm 5'9 and feel real comfy on it. you might be a little heavy for it but i would say coming from a yz250 you will be sorely dissapointed with the power on anything in the class. i would step up to at least a 400ex/z400 if you want power
