Anyone ever tried these ?

Diamond J A-Arm bushings (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=43974&viewitem=&item=170086231475&_trksid=p3907.m29)

Any Feedback ?

Are they really metal/metal ?

Thanks guys.

i've not used those particular bushings but i have had some custom built that were metal to metal. meaning that the bushing was a press in fit and a crush sleeve is used as it allows friction between the bushing and pin versus friction between bushing and a-arm socket.

the particular bushings i had built were designed so that i can utilize OEM seals. those do not.

Good point there  I suppose these do this as well because the bigger edge is left outside the A-Arm socket and when you tighen the bolts it gets squeezed between the frame and socket, so the only part left moving should be the sleeve.

Did you grease yours before installation ? Any clauking noises ?

Thanks

what i did was had the custom bushings designed to where i could use the OEM hinge/crush pins in conjunction with the OEM seals and fitted the a-arms with grease elements so that i could apply grease. i've been running them for 6 years now with no slack still.

are you looking for an alternate aftermarket bushing set for you quad? if so, give THESE (http://atvbushings.com/id3.html) a look see.

Yes I know about the helm kit, I'm looking for cheapest replacement because I only have the top ones to do, the bottoms are tight as new.

I won't riding my 400 much until spring season so maybe i'll just leave like this until i'm ready to buy a full kit.

What do you think about these kits: ModQuad Delron bushing kit (http://modquad.com/store/search_results.asp?txtsearchParamCat=48&txtsearchParamType=ALL&txtsearchParamMan=ALL&txtsearchParamVen=ALL&iLevel=1) ?
