450r hood on 400ex

will an 04-05 or 06+ 450r stock hood fit on an 05-07 400ex?

I'm curious about this also since i broke one of the tabs on my hood and had to super glue it back on i could just switch it out with my buddy's 450R which he is trying to sell anyways. I'll check it out tonight and let you guys know if someone doesnt post it before i get a chance, but im pretty sure that the cuts on the 450 are different for the headlight.

i talked to my friends today. they said their 04-05 wont fit an 06+ and vice versa. but we think the 04-05 is the same as an 05-07 400ex.

06 450r has the new style headlight.

the 04-05 450r hood will interchange with the 05-07 400ex untill it got the new headlight.

i did a front end conversion to a 00 400ex and i used a 05 450r hood. fit perfect.
