whats the difference between the C5 and F3 levers?

i want to keep my lights and i don't want them wired on all the time but i also want to clean up my bars, has anyone gotten an aftermarket clutch lever with hotstart and got rid of their stock light and hot start switches that still runs their lights......or any ideas what i can do? id like to still keep the high and low beam option but just not on the bars.

Trail tech makes some stuff for that.

Still on the bars but at least they're smaller.

The difference between the C5 and F3 series are that the C5 has a 5 year guarantee and F3 has 3 year. Also the C5 is cnc machined whereas the F3 is forged, so the C5 is a little nicer quality. It also has the star shaped quick adjust knob, for easier "on the fly" adjustment.

you can go to walmart or somewhere and just buy some switches and mount them in the frame. or on your plastics. i bought leds for my quad and im using a rocker switch.

i have a f3 and hate it. I ran it for 2 years. Not that i hate it, the RTC's just pull a hellaof alot easier. Its still better than stock, but thats just because you can adjust the position of the lever which is why i went with ASV to start.

I also have the F3 and I don't like it. I would like to get a works connection but they are pricey!!!

ive been using the C5 clutch and brake levers for the last two years and love them, some of the tracks i race are sandy and i thought that the sand would wreck the bearings and springs in the lever but they still work good as new, plenty of crashes and still no broken levers, i do agree on the RTC clutch perches being extremely easy to pull, its crazy how easy they are.

well after getting a magura clutch lever and not being satisfied with it i cheaped out a bit and ordered an RTC clutch and front brake lever set. I'm just really after a smoother easier pull than stock although i really love the looks of the asv levers.
