i personally don;t run them because they can cause alot of problems let alone a horrible ride because of the bump steer in the front but they can cause your studs to break off the hub...

dont go there dude. had horrible times with them front and rear. bent tie rods, broke studs, bend rims and ive also heard of people bending their arms as well. save up and buy some a-arms.

My friend has 2 inch wheel spacers in the rear and hasn't had any problems yet. The only problems he has had is the turning isn't as good so he is going to extend the front.

I have DuraBlue spacers I'll sell ya.
I hated them. The quad looked great with them. But, once you got going...it had terrible bump steer.
It was so annoying I felt it was better to remove them and just eat the $100.

I got them on front with wider axle in rear, there not bad for trails ,if you plan on racing then get a-arms, the front spacers I got 4yrs ago for my Z never had problem with them they make quad handle alot better sure there not as good as a-arms but better than nothing no-tipping ,slides better, etc. If you can afford to get, then get a-arms if you cant at least get spacers in my opion.

???
I think spacers on the back is better than the front.
On the back it does not upset frame geometry as much as on the front.

true but it makes your axle like a soft noodle

spacers are spacers. they all have the same pros and cons.

put-put- like we started before, ya dont want them if you are going to be jumping or riding in rough terrain because its stressing your axle and hubs.

Ok lets clear a few things up with some facts.

Facts -

Spacers will make your quad wider. Spacers do NOT effect the bumpsteer of the quad in any way shape or form. Spacers do NOT help handling, they make handling worse. Spacers will resist tipping over better, but that is not "handling" Spacers on the rear do not effect handling in a negative way, or at least not nearly as bad as the fron, but they are like adding a lever to your axle, making it easier to bend. Spacers on the rear are OK if that's your thing and you're broke and dont leave the ground ever. Though I have seen used axles on this very site go for less money than a set of spacers. Spacers on the front will add a lot more leverage on parts like your studs and hub bearings, but they will not effect the feel of the shock at all. Spacers and flipped rims, are all around a bad idea, and can jeapordize the safety of the rider. As bad as spacers are, they are not nearly as bad as the Diamond J Customs widening kits on ebay.

If you want a wider quad that still handles well, do it right, get arms and axle. If money is a issue (as it is with most of us) check out the used section here, lots of good deals to be had.

This was one thing I thought was caused by front wheel spacers= bumpsteer.

how does it not effect it ? it makes it a lot worse
