oil level question kfx400

Ok. I change the oil in the crankcase. I didnt drain the reservoir. So I added the new oil. Little over a quart. So if the dip stick on the reservoir says its full then its full right? If Irun it and then let it set and check it and it says fun then its full??

you really need to drain all the oil not just part of it, and change the filter to, its even a good idea to but oil in the filter before the cover is put back on, and becareful there is a spring and a O ring in there .
it would be a good idea to get one of them shop manuals , there rather cheep ,get one from ebay.
