How is the traction for you guys with 6-ply tires?
I have been playing around with tire pressures on my Holeshot HD's for several months now and just can't nd has with his half worn stock tires.
I accredit this to him having a softer tire and obtaining more bite.

But, I would think with the large lugs on my Holeshots I would have gotten better traction than he.

The compound makes a big difference. Stock tires have a very soft compound and very soft sidewalls. All that flex equals to more traction than a 6ply tire with stiff tread and stiff sidewalls. Go find some muddy trails and rocks and see how long he stays infront of you then. ;) 6ply tires have their trade offs, but the peace of mind and extra bite in the loam and mud is worth it. If its drag racing you do, then you bought the wrong tire. ;)
