I have a K&N filter and a t-4 and I jetted mine to a 158 main and a 42 pilot....hope that helps (I think it also depends on your altitude)

depending on your altitude, 146 sounds way too small. unless you live in a very high altitude, you should be using a larger main. I would try a 160 and a 165. If you are higher altitude, use the 160. If you are not, try the 165. Do a plug-color check with a 160 first, if it is good(close to cardboard brown in color) keep it. if it is lighter in color, use the 165. If it is dark black, use a smaller jet (155, 158, etc). It all depends on the altitude and the individual bike. It would probably be a good idea to use a slightly larger pilot jet also (40 or 42). hope that helps.

if you are using a dynojet kit, the sizes will be different. dynojet jets are rated differently than regular kehin jets. a smaller sized dynojet jet may actually be bigger than a regular kehin jet. 155 sounds like a good size to start with if you are using dynojet jets.

i'm running 170 and 42 at sea level, and it runs great, plug looks perfect! why is the main so high? i tried the 165 and it was still poppin and backfiring like crazy so i tried the 170. the instructions say to use a 170 for my altitude.

I am running a 155 mj with a 40 pilot jet at about 500 ft elevation.
