im ordering houser +2+1 aarms. im thinking red with chrome tops. my frame will be candy blue, and my plastics will be orange with ducan blue graphics. what colors aarms your suggest out of
(grey hammertone, red, black silvervein. chrome tops)
i could always get them powdercoated but thats just gonna cost more money, since i blew over $1,000 on my frontend for my R
pics would be great

crhye250r has a quad basically like the one you're describing. You should get in touch with him for some pics. I've seen them around here a few times.
If I were you, i'd go with candy blue bottoms too.

my quad is in peaices right now. im rebuilding it. my elka triple rates ssd are on order, and im ordering aarms this following friday, and i will ship out my frame for powdercoating to 2-R's probly end of november.

i called quadshop and they said houser isnt chroming right now. i think red aarms would look back with the candublue frame. anyone have pics?

red a-arms + orange plastic + blue frame = EWWWWWW
Go for silvervein!!! Im getting chrome tops and silvervein bottoms on my LT front end (Herrmann)(I wouldnt reccomend Houser).
Silvervein will make a great neutral color for orange and blue. You could always do blue bottoms and silvervein tops (just a though)?!?!
You made a good choice in spending the money on the suspension tants

how come you dont recondmend housers? ive herd good and bad things... mabe if i can find a pair of laegures cheap... (both chrome!)

ive decided on herrman +2+1 chromoly aarms. there also cheaper then housers. does anyone no what colors they come in? they were only the greyish color on the website picture of them...

housers are simply inferior to other a-arms by their designs, specifically the LT front ends.
Herrmann (& gibson) is much better quality, and the overall design is better

Gte your plastics orange, and blue frame then, buy laeger's arms unless you really wnat houser (i dont reccomnend houser), but get chrome tops and blue bottoms and a blue swingarm, your quad will look tyte, if you change ur mind on frame get white cuz itll stick out and look hot, but really laeger's are alot better than housers and the colors I picked with the plastics and color's they sound trick to me
um.. without nacs graphics you should shoot for sumthing like this if not yea bill ur right white plastics would look nice or fullbore red! but the orange plastics will turn out hott

just get em the color can be changed ;)
yea send them to 2r's or kenny unless they work together and theyll pc them cheap! and a perfect pc job that will last a long time

Man who's Nac's 250r is that? That is awesome. I think that would look awesome with a Blue Frame. I wouldn't do a light color. It will show to much dirt and stuff. Do a darker blue.
but go with chorme tops blue bottoms and blue swingarm, blue frame that will look awesome with a orange plastic kit, and sticker kit, also blue kickstarter, sterring stem, spindles and hubs, then for orange do motor mounts
id say the gayest color possible just to be my smartass self but i suggest blue

w/ blue swingarm, bottom a-arms, and frame, you'll have way too much blue in your chassis.
Have some neutral colors (black, silverven, polished and cleared stuff, silver, ect).
I LOVE silvervein on my swingarm. I wana get silvervein bottoms on my LT front end (sooner or later) and chrome the tops.
I dunno what you guys see in the blue/orange combo, its seems copy-catish and and un-original now.

Everything was Silvervein. Frame, A-Arms, and Swingarm. I'm not sure on the Stem. Very nice though. Looked great.

Yeah it was at the Orrville TT race in 2001. That other picture I saw Dana and Doug getting ready to get on it so I hurried and took the picture. It looked awesome.

I think you should get the herrmann a-arms WITHOUT PCOAT
send the arms out to be coated with the frame so you have matching colors...;)
forget about the chrome...
I think red arms with a blue frame is nasty....
go with your first idea tants but match the bottom arms to the frame. maybe almost chrome pcoat on the top? and a almost chrome swingarm?
i think that would be sweet. with the orange plastics.
but think about this, you are buying elka shocks. there pretty much maroonish(red) and black. so they wont match the blue...
I think pappy can fix the color of the shocks( BIG MAYBE) maybe he could anodize them blue.

im dropping the frame off at beerocks house sunday for guessesting, then after hes done hes sending it to brad herrman to get powdercoated...
