Good, Bad or go with aluminum

For mx they are better, but i haven't tried one for trail riding. They are pretty thick, and are very light. They also glide over deep ruts instead of getting hung up.

My buddy runs one on his raptor in the woods/rocks. Holds up great. Ive had a few aluminum skids get rips and holes. His alum. skid was torn up before he got the tag. You can barely see scratches in the tag. Ill be getting one soon enough ;)

I run one on my 450r. I race XC and it has held up great so far. Doesn't dent and bend like aluminum does. I would recommend them.

The only thing I didnt like about it is the drain hole for the skid plate was way off. I had to cut it some so I could drain the oil without taking the skid off.

where can i find one of these skidplates for a ltr 450?
