I just need to know if there would be any clearance issues with a .020 11.1:1 weisco piston, and a stage 1 hotcam. I will also be putting in HD springs and retainers.

Nope, Common upgrade. Unless you change the deck height...

Like zrpilot said, no problem unless deck height is changed but even then it would have to be a huge change.

I wasnt sure on the springs either but I needed to replace them anyways so why not upgrade.

Can the HD springs damage the valves or valve seats? More wear on the cam lobes?

Ive had HD springs in mine for 3 years and the cam lobes and rockers still look great.
