Does anyone know of any dirtbike forums similar to this one? i am looking for one to find a crf250r and it seems like there are none as easy to use as this one or as active as this one. so does anyone know of any???

HAHAHAHA I've been getting a lot of "bad gastank" on there lately. A couple actually called me a *** when I said something about a quad.

lol they are still just a little bent out of shape that the quads turned in faster lap times at steel city! but i think the bikes for sale on thumpertalk are all high priced compared to just our local tracks website. well if anyone has a honda crf250r or crf450r for a good price let me know. do you think a 450r would be too much for my first bike???

IM buying a 250f for my first bike I had a 450R for my first quad and it just took time to get use to it

Go with a 250f for your first bike if you ride a lot of track... and even if you don't. I moved from a cr80>yz125>cr250>crf450r over the last 7-8 years. If I only road track I would probably have gone for a crf250r, but I went with the 450 because I desert ride as well. Just bought a brand new "leftover" 06' on January 2nd for 5200 OTD. :) Cheapest you can find in CA.

Couldn't justify spending 2 grand more for an 08, when the 06's are known to have the best engine yet and be very reliable. Besides, if you want a steering dampener just get a Scott's. ;)

I thought about getting a 450X instead of my WR because it felt taller but I started reading about valve problems. I don't know about the 250's but the way I understood it, the 450's had problems now matter how you rode it.

well i think i am just going to get a crf450r and see if that works for me. my buddy got off his trx and went straight to a crf450r and he is doing great. plus i ride a lot of dunes as well and the extra hp and torque will be nice.
