Quad Tech Hoods

hey,
i used the search and couldnt really find anything. Anyway do they still make the quad tech carbon fiber hoods for the 400ex?(i got an 06). I really want one...they look great!.....I want one like in the one in the picture i attached. its
drsnugfit's 400ex.

the hoods like that are only for 99-04 ex's. you're probably best off looking at maier hoods for the 05s+.

i have a majer hood already. If i can find a quad tech hood then i would get 04 or below plastics if i could.

Do they make anything that is a little more modern looking?

Please don't take offense but everytime I see those hoods the air inlet "grille" reminds me of the HVAC floor vent grilles in my grandmothers house :-)

wheres the best place to get a hood for a 99 EX? i need one that will fit on stock plastics.

you're best bet is posting up a thread in the wanted to buy section. also, there is one with 2 days left on ebay.. expect to pay a pretty penny for a quadtech though..

i dont need a quad tech. i just want one thats black. anyone have any pics that have a black hood on a 99-04 ex and knows what kind of hood it is and where to get it?
