Stock 400ex shocks [Archive] - ATV Riders Forum

I have searched this forum for the answer to my question and could not find anything remotley close. I would like to know if anyone has had their stock 400ex shocks upgraded? If it worked please let me know where you sent them out to. I have seen that alot of people have had 450ex shocks rebuilt but not 400ex shocks. Any help would be appreciated.

well 400ex shocks aren't gas, and they have no adjustments besides preload so there is no upgrade for them.

Sorry if this question is stupid, but can the springs be upgraded?

I think ur a bit confused with the 400ex shocks, it's the 450r shocks that can get revalved and such but EX shocks are only preload adj like said before but can not be revalved or rebuilt.

Thank you for clarrifying and know I know that I just have to buy new front shocks. Any suggestions for a casual trail/MX rider 220 pounds?
