I will say this. Suspension mods first!:D Ask around here and most will tell you the same. I would say for 2500 you could get some nice shocks and a basic 416 ki installed.:D

My thoughts exactly.. Beef up the suspension first, that way youll be able to handle more power.:D

Labor shouldn't be much over $200 at the most.

I Think that if you have the right tools and a manual you should be good. I could not see paying 200 unless you are lazy and have the money.

I will say this do it right the first time with all mod. so that you are not buying and sell all the time. Like don't buy works then get on a bike with axis and the find out you should have bought axis. The main thing is you and your bike are only as fast as your suspension will let you be!

just look at chadexrs mod list and there you go. o you said 2500 not 25,000:D all of the above plans are good

i say the above modds are good, look around magazines and stuff cuz for some places you can find stuff that there is no tax and shipping is free if you live outside of california, but yes, the above modds will def make ur face go:eek: :D when you hit the throttle;)

Yeah I was just kind of guessing on the prices, but they are close. You may get some things cheaper, and some may be more.

Joe, Ben has already contacted you concerning commercial advertising. Both you and Extremeracer167 have been told about this yet you still insist on advertising here. If you're interested in selling your commercial items here you can contact Ben and work out some type of deal. Until then, there's no commercial advertising going to be done here for your stuff.

R/T Sorry man, I must have misunderstood what you wanted a price on. They are quite a bit more than that!

Yeah the works' prices went up a long time ago. They used to be around $500, but now around $550.

To get the Piggyback on Works you have to get the Pro Series or whatever it is that has the 5/8 shaft and stuff. That's why they are more, right Jeff?

there is a diff between the piggy back style and the style with remote rezzies. a guy on ebay sells triple rates with remote rezzies for 476.99 plus 19 shipping. they take two - three weeks and are set up for weight/riding style as like every other suspension manufac. he also sells triple rates w/out rezzies for 332.99 plus 19 shipping. piggy backs i believe are in the 600-700 range. i think the piggy back offer weight savings and possible valving differances.

i can jump pretty decent with my stock suspension so i feel that the works will do me just fine. the stock suspension is pretty cheesy when the speed is increased and if i can manage with what is there then ANYTHING better will only make it easier. I am not racing proffesionally and i feel the works will suit my needs. if i was sponsered or had 750 to drop on shocks then ya, but not now.

my 416 kit with stage 2 hotcam cost me about 200 for piston and all gaskets. 50 for boring. 145 for my hotcam stage 2 direct from hotcam. you can get them new on ebay also for 110-140 plus shipping. i also lapped my valves so the compound was 4.00. a slip-on will set you back about 150-250 depending on what you get. another set of tires is always a good choice. tires will set yoo back another 250 at most or 350 with rims. a rebuilt rear should do the trick at 350 the most

so there you have anywhere from 1200-1850. so know you have a extra 650-1300 to spend on add'l accesories and or upgrades to existing components like instead of works make it elkas... plastic, gearing, jets, full system.....

just look around, you'll find stuff.

i am talking about works not elkas for that price
