There isn't a master link on the stock LTR chain?

No there is not a master link on the stock chain.

Like the other's said, since there is not a master link on the stock chain, you can easily take it off using a chain breaker. If you don't have one, you can also use a grinder. To put it back together, you will need a master link, though.

or just pull your whole rear end out then you can take it off that way if you dont wanna hurt it :o

Haha, that's what I actually did a while ago when I tore it down for the first time, but I figured he'd rather just use a chain breaker or grinder on it rather than taking the whole rearend off, lol.

haha ya i did the same when i tore it down this winter but since you guys already said the easy and obvious ones i just wanted to say something different case he didnt want to do any of the easy stuff

chain breaker.......i think its garbage that stocks dont run a master link but oh well. but if you dont wanna cut, just drop swingarm bolt slide the chain out and put swinger bolt back in. your best bet is just to cut the thing though.
