Winter Rebuild Part 2...

Since the other thread was getting cluttered up i figured ill make a new one.

Heres what the plans are:
-steering stabalizer
-aftermarket front shocks
-maier hood
-fully built head by C&D, +1mm vavles, port and polish, new valve
seals, and heavy duty valve springs,
-450r swinger
-four stroke tech 330 kit,
-four stroke tech or curtis sparks cam
-250r rear shock
-g-force axle
-rad lock nut

i might also get a 39mm fcr carb but i need to get some feedback about doing this though,, and i might take some 400ex footpegs and make them work,,


it should definatly turn out nice when its done,,

i bought a denton steering stabalizer,
a maier carbon fiber looking hood
works tripple rate front shocks with remote rezzys
i also got
450r swingarm
250r shock
rad lock nut


so im pretty much down to engine work and reassembly,

heres a pic of the rear end mocked up in place i still have to weld the brackets on and i need the tube that the pivot bolt goes through

but it definatly lines up better than the 400ex swinger i was using previosly

and i have been working on cleaning up the frame and polishing the cases and claning up the motor

were do you live in western pa? im gonna be buying equipment to start powdercoating within the month if your interested. my prices will be cheap if i like the outcome i do on my quad. ill post pics up when i do some of my own parts and let you decide tho. im in erie

ok finally some updates,,
if anyones still paying attention :p

i welded on the linkage tabs,, got the rear end bolted in,, got the shock and rezzy mounted,

i pulled the motor out,

and i got the front end tore apart again, cuse i just bought a lonestar anti-vib stem, and burguard +1 400ex a-arms,,
i didnt plan on this stuff but i couldnt resist,,


so that just leaves me with the motor and a axle,,

and a few powdercoated pieces, such as my outer side cases, and motor mounts and some other misc. things

ill get some pics up soon

hey man wat heel guards are those u got on ur 300, and nice quad by the way i like wat u got in it for the project i have a 250x its got some goodies

those are 400ex ims heel guards, i like em' alot, and they werent to hard to bolt up,

can you post pictures on how you welded up your brackets for the rear linkage. i plan on putting my 450 swinger on the 250 when i get a new one for the 450
