Hey guys, anyone know how to fix a carriage jam in a printer? After a successful print job (which is rare) the thing that hold the ink (I'm guessing is the carriage) slams repeatedly into the side of the printer, literally slams and keeps hitting it for about 10 seconds.

Anyways it's an HP 6210 officejet all-in-one.

I followed these directions, but there is no paper jam. Help if you can...thanks.

Nothing is actually jammed is what has me stumped, i can still print...it just takes about 10 minutes of trying before i finally catch it at the right time that it starts printing.

Like if i tried to print now...error.
now....error.
now....error.
now....error.
now....works.
now....error.
etc.

So nothing is physically jammed, I just think my program is messed up so i uninstalled the driver and reinstalled it again and its still messing up.

ahhh techonology.....

I had an HP all in one that did that too. I got fed up with it and smashed it outside. Got a new HP C3180 all in one and its been great prints everytime no matter what. Might be time for a new one!
