I'm going with black baja's on the rear . Undecided on the front yet. What wheel size is best for the rear? What are the pro's and con's of each? Also what do most run on the fronts 21 or 22's ?

Thanks guys.

What kind of riding will you be doing? I prefer the 9" rear because there is a little less sidewall flex in the corners.

it all depends on what kind of riding you do and how big of a tire you going to put on them..

Cross Country Riding- 9" Rears rims with 20"or larger tires and 10" Front Rims with 22" tires or larger. It's all about ground clearance

Racing- 8" Rears rims with 18" tires and 10" Front Rims with 21" or 22" tires. Low end speed and torque are gained with smaller rear tires.

If you're going to be doing a ton of trail riding I would consider something bigger than 8in rear with a 18x8 tire. That's what I have on my 400 and it's really tough if you get in ruts because you bottom out. Also if you riding trails look for a bigger size front tire because with all the turning you have to do you wanna keep them on the ground. Alot of times with small fronts they lift off the ground easier meaning you can't steer.

if you like trail riding and want the ground clearance i have the right tires for you! im trying to sell a set of holeshots that are on a 10" rims.. they are a little bigger than the stock size and they are great in the trails!

agreed but for front tires for mx i dont think youd wanna run 21s or 22s. you want less sidewall roll so you can hit the corners faster. i run a 19" tire on a 10" rim and you can fly through corners with no sidewall roll but all depends on what you ride
