jeff i was hoping you can help me on this... i have a few questions... anyone feel free to answer not just jeff

i blew out my rear works shock but i think it was from a line puncture i will get pix tommorow and the can is in pretty bad shape too... my question is, how much is it for the rear shock to be converted to a zero preload setup with a new rezzie and line (needing to be recharged i am geussing), and with the new rezzie can adjustable rebound or compression be added? also what other type of rear shock is avalible for a 300ex... i was going to use the rear raptor shock but here is the deal,

i put on my works rear shock and it was working good and all but i noticed a little play between the bolt and mount on the quad making the shock be a little loose fitting so my dad and i drilled out the bushings that go in the shock and where the shock bolts go through in the quad to make the hole bigger for a bigger bolt and make it tight fitting, here is the problem the new size bolt doesnt fit in the raptor shock hole... what should i do?

any help needed greatly...

You should sell the raptor shock to me. You can use the money to get the works redone cause you already modified it for you bike and you will get no money for if you try to sell it. Plus the works shock was engineered for your bike and a raptor shock was not. My opinion

drill out the raptor shock in the meantime

Nice, when do you did u first get ur works rear shock? Was the blowout caused by the puncture in the line?

it looks like the works was just missing a bushing, or i may be confused. But didnt you have to use a bigger bolt for the works. then didnt you have to drill out your frame. It looks like all you needed was a bushing for the works. But then againg, i might be confused.

i did drill out the frame... which is the reason i cant put the raptor shock in do to the larger bolt lol get it now? yea in the long run all i needed was bushings to make the old bolt fit better i wish i would have done that :( then i could have used the raptor shock but oh well now i can just use the works shock anyway...

dont be confused there are bushings but they were worn around on the inside
