how long to brake a motor in?

I usually do a few heat cycles (let it heat up for a few mins then shut off and cool) I do this a few times. Then run it for 15-20 mins or so varying the rpms. Let it cool one more time Change oil and filter. Then ride it like I stole it lol.

everyone has their own way of breaking motors in. If you do a search you'll find lots of good info ;)

when I got my 400ex i ran one tank of fuel through it before a really started romping on it

run one tank of gas then go a littlie faster every time but keep low rpms for about 2 tanks just to make sure

yea the bettter you break it in now the longer it willl perform for you IMO. just make sure to keep na eye on the oil level and little stuff like that
