New '06 450ER owner

I just bought a 06 450r.. Not very familiar with possible motor quirks or anything. I have had a 400ex for about 4 years. It seems like they are very cold natured, but then again it is 12 degrees outside. I also noticed that the engine noise is kinda loud. Is this typical on the 450r's. Thanks for any pointers.

Yeah the 450rs have a really loud top end.
I always joke that the valves are louder then the stock exhaust.

Most of the noise you can hear is from the FCR carb. Its normal for them to be loud. Honda's valves are usually loud too....I always heard that you shouldnt be worried until they get quiet, then your valves are too tight!!
