now, some of the pictures might be decieving...or maybe i just dont think the track is that great becuase ive rode on it so many times haha....but once spring comes around, i'll post up a thread, and anyone who wants to come, is more than welcome to come and ride all day FREE....plenty of parking, we have over 100 acres, about 5 acres wooded, their are trails, but not wide enough for a 50" wide quad...i made those before i got into motocross...i'll just have to set a date in spring on the weekend...

ive run a few of the d-11 races, indoor arenacross, and some fair races....but im thinkin about running a few nationals this summer...if i do, i'd like to find someone who has been to a national before and either follow them, or just kinda tag along with them at the track that way i dont miss anything...

Where did you get your dirt? I'm plannig on building a track this spring. My family owns a construction company and I can run all the machines so that is'nt a problem, but I need dirt. Did you truck it in or dig a hole some where? If you trucked it how many loads did you use. Looks like an awesome track, thanks for help.

I got all the dirt right from the location....the track is on a bunch of hills, so some of the jumps i actually dug into the hillside and made that the actual jump. used that dirt in other places, and i just scraped off soil with the skid steer for other spots

dude you ahve a nice truck for a start, i knwo what your sayin on the part where it isnt as nice to you becasue you ride it soo much... i rode my buddys track just baout every do for atleast 5 laps every day, my blaster got a work out all the time,
its only about and 2 acers or 2.5 bot really ll that big, but i have alot of time in the skider and im a crazy b!tch all all the jumps have hude lips and all that, they pop you really high, i got a little carried away nd forgot i was buildin a track for a quad not a PRO motocross bike rider and made a duble duble too close, my buddy hit it and i told him not to and wait till i was there be cause i was gonna change it becasue i had to go to work, what does he do. he hits and crashes and cracks the frame. and messes up his body.

but i have about 40 acers this summer to work with up hill down hill, and they are steep. if you dont have aftermarket shocks you will not want to ride this track, but i'll have to get some pic's of it and soo you guys what i ride in WI.

nice track, your next move will be a bigger ramp then the more lip then the huge ramp with the huge lip with a hug tripple!

woodsracer- WOW haha i dotn build jumps to launch you 87 feet in the air, i prefer low, and more distance....height gets you nowhere...but remember when you build your track that you dont have to use all 40 acres haha

trick250r dude if you wanna tag along we can meet up and you can just put the bike in our trailor. The nats are a completely different experience LOL

i have a complete trailerl and everything, spare parts tires, and all that....i just would want someone to kinda make sure im not making any "newbie" mistakes haha....my dad and i would just follow....but could you do me a favor? and possibly PM me when you are going to a race within 3 hours of columbus, ohio? or call

bah1491
01-27-2008, 07:18 AM
alrighty, sounds good.....the track is roughly half a mile....i think it measured to be like 0.45 miles...incase anyone wondered

woodsracer144
01-27-2008, 09:37 AM
yeah i was tired and i was typein a bit fast sorry about that... i build the ramps steep so i get more height so that way atthe race when i have to hist the jump it feels like nothing. and i'm aslo buildin jumps for a guy on a CRF 250 racing pro. so it was hard to adjust, if the track wasnt covered in snow i would take some pic's but i really like that.

how do you do oyur down hill jumps, i have 3 down hill spots and i was gonna put in step downs but i dont wanna have a hud lit then you land on the other side . there pretty steep also, in the mud its a hard time goin up it becasue you have to butterfly the clutch and all that and hop on the back,

i wanna see it once you do your remake, thats a nice track goin, my buddy opened up a track and i have another one thats workin for harley right now and he rides a trx 250r and all pimped out and hes gonna fer 80 acers im think it was 60 track and 40 park and buildings but not sure but if he builds that track im thinkin that i would be running a skidder and all that therer...

bah1491
01-27-2008, 09:48 AM
the downhills you have to remember that all your momentum is going DOWN already, so you dont have to be moving as fast as you think, and you definetly do NOT need big air....all my jumps have forgiving landings, or tabletob style landings so you can get comfortable the first few times... heres my "prefessional sketch" on downhill jump building courtesey of Microsoft Paint!

This could be any size of gaps that you want....now you have yourself a tripple....just dont make them so they launch you 87 feet in the air....their are no tracks that send you 20 feet up, and 10 feet forward....at least none to my knowledge

ok this is travis pastrana pract. on the double backflip.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=Rf25Eiahnxs
this ramp is just about the same as the one i built but i dont have as long of a run and its not as steep as that. but now its not as hard core but when i first build it you had to have it pined.

woodsracer144
01-27-2008, 09:58 AM
yeah i have a back double and thats easy a 400ex can clear that in 2nd just on a tap. and then theres a single that you round and then its a little down hil part what was double double, but the gap was too big then i put it too close and thats how he crashed when i told him to say off it and go around it, but then i rounded the ramp for the double doube down its messed up right now but im makin it one huge triple with a huge landing. its gonna be hard core. its about a good 80 foot spot and its goona be a huge step up from what we ride, he runs XC and we just have a hard core mx track for me to run around on but its really fun to have 2 people in the far 2 corners and have a game and the first one to catch the other one and make the pass wins, thats a pretty fun game and it helps me a ton becasue its like you crash and are tryin to come back but its also really hard and some times you can be out there for a long time and sooner or later you or a buddy is soo tired that you cant keep the pase of the other.

whats the mods on that 450?
im gona be gettin a ike in the spring. im thinksin a rm 250... but im not sure. mabie a 250f.

i see your not to far from newark, check out briarcliff sometime they have a fairly decent track that will get you a workout, i wouldnt say they are that good of maintaing the tracks on pratice days but none the less the jumps are fun but not forgiving. If you are ever in the dayton/troy area let me know friend of mine owns a decent track that is fun and forgiving to all riders. pushetacreekmxpark

good to hear, im sure you have seen the hybrid quads there then from what i hear they are the owners or friends of the owner, I sat there and watched him sit on the line for about 30sec while he let everyone go out in front/ he still managed to wreck remount on his quad and still take 1st place. I was told he was in pro-am/pro ranks for awhile then got out.

I know you might be getting tired of being asked where you are located but I am from the Zanesville area, Frazeysburg to be exact. I'm in the process of moving to the east end of Z ville and trying to find places to ride. Anyways I was just curious as to what end of town or what school district

bah1491
01-27-2008, 08:52 PM
i live at 3060 Stine Road zanesville, ohio 43701 MAPQUEST haha
but i go to maysville high school, im a junior there. its in maysville district....if you go past the super walmart on the south en of zville, follow route 22 until you reach foxfire drive on your right hand side....its right before newton fire station.....then stine is off of that....

ok cool, Im familiar with that area somewhat. My grandpa actually lives not too far from you at the sidwell gravel pit. I keep bugging him to see if he will let me ride there but no luck yet. So i assume you do all your business through treadways?

bah1491
01-28-2008, 11:07 AM
i live near the sidwells home....they live on wartman road....but tredways....im not a big fan of them....so i usually go to baldersons
