is there any way you can screw up adjusting the chain after u put a sprocket on, or hurt the bearings on a 400ex?

last time i happened to do it a few weeks later my bearings went out, NOTE it was a year old or more so im thinking it was a coincidence.

im just worried that i screwed up or something last time but i did it the way i was told but i was told it was a coincidence.

If you jump you may snap your chain or screw something up pretty bad, there's a measurement on how much slack your suppose to have somewhere in your owners manual.

According to my OEM service manual your chain needs to have somewhere between 1-1/4 and 1-5/8 inches of slack.;)
