400ex breather hole

on the 400ex motors ive turned my 400ex into a mx 440ex and was wondering the breather hole on the case that usually goes to the air intake boot what do you guys do with that when you eliminate the airbox?

i've seen some little K&N style filters for those on xrsonly.com.

Pick with K&N filter on tube and bolt in intake boot with caulking.
