Alright..i just want to get opinions on what my friend should do. He's a top B-class MX rider and he's debating on what to do for his LTR. Send his stock shocks to hygear and get the pro package ($1,300) OR send his stock shocks to derisi and get them fully reworked (triple rate zero preload fronts....dual rate rear....revalved....new shock linkage) for roughly $1,000. Ive read the threads about hygear..but none of them talked about the pro package. Thanks guys

I'd go Derisi myself, just from what I've been hearing.

From my own personal experience I would never go to DeRisi again but it seems everyone else has had nothing but good luck. I think it was a one time fluke (I hope) between DeRisi and my friend and I. It ended up costing me surgery but life goes on.

Have you thought about GT Thunder? Great reviews there also.

GTT sucks i would not let them build my R/C car shocks, I have had Derisi rebuilds and they were great.

everyone has a different like and dislike or bad experience with 1 company or another. I havent heard a single complaint with something happening with our site sponsor C&D racing. Maybe people have bad experiences because they werent 100% truthful when having the shocks setup? idk. The only companies that I think I would let do my shocks would be: Derisi, C&D, TCS. There might be a few others but those are the 1's i would stick with

Good choice. I believe when my rear shock comes I'm going to have it sent out to either C&D or GTT for a revalve and new spring. I wish I could try DeRisi again but after my last experience I just can't see myself going back, even if I got a good deal.
