Documenting My Build...

WELL HERE IS THE FIRST STEP IN DOCUMENTING MY BUILD. I HAVE A 2002 400EX WITH 440CC ENGINE THAT NEEDED A NEW CYLINDER. THE FRAME IS GOOD AND STRAIGHT WITH NEW BALL JOINTS, CARRIER BEARING, REAR SPROCKET, BRAKES ALL THE WAY AROUND ECT. HAS THOR BARS, PRO ARMOR BUMBER, DOUGLAS WHEELS, KENDA TIRES AND A FEW OTHER GOODIES. I HAVE STRIPPED IT DOWN TO THE FRAME AND DISASSMEBLD THE MOTOR. HAD THE ENGINE AND ALL EXTERNAL PARTS BEAD BLASTED. I NOW HAVE THEM PAINTED WITH HIGH TEMERATURE BLACK PAINT. THE SIDE COVERS WILL BE POWDER COATED WITH BLOOD RED ALONG WITH THE FRONT SUSPENSION, BARS, BUMPER OIL COOLER, FOOT LEVERS, AND HUBS.
THE ENGINE WILL NOW HAVE A 416CC BORE WITH A JE 10.8:1 COMPRESSION PISTON. ALSO HAVE A TC PRO NATIONAL RACE CAM, PORTED HEAD, JETTED CARB, YOSHI EXHAUST, CARILLO ROD ETC. I AM GOING TO USE THE DOUGLAS WHEELS AND NEW KENDA TIRES. THE PLASTIC WILL BE BLACK WITH RED SEAT AND THE ENTIRE FRAM WILL BE COATED BLACK TO MATCH THE ENGINE. I9 HAVE PICS BUT I AM AT WORK NOW AND WILL POST THEM LATER.

I LIKE THE BLACK RED LOOK. I AM GOING TO LEAVE THE WHEELS CHROME THOUGH. WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK?

I'd powder coat those chrome wheels. Black or Red would flow with the rest of your quad.

so what do you guys think so far...i am thinking about havin the pro armor bumper beaded again and going black...what is your thoughts? i may go with the black on the wheels. you gotta have a little chrome though right? lol
BTW i did a little different than planned on the a arms and oil cooler. the more black i see the better i like it.

found this under my frame when i moved it...last removal was the rear swingarm and shock...any ideas? i dunno wth it is right now and i don't wanna be guessing on the reassemble. thanks again fellas!

I like it! Not sure if I'll do red or polished sidecovers but the red looks GOOD!

I recognized it instantly. It's one of the exhaust anchor nuts. It's the one just above the rear brake switch. It had to have fallen out when you removed the exhaust bolt.

yeah i done all the color myslef. thanks for the comment on the dog...she's by buddy. she is full blood red nosed pit bull though. most people hear that and negative thoughs run through their heads. she's the biggest lap puppy you have ever seen. wants to be on top of you gettin petted all the time. so what do you guys think i should do with the wheels?

black wheels!!!! you going to have one bad *** bike... you are doing what i allways dreamed of... all black! everything black... but i would do it all black and keep the blood red going like i would leave the bumper red and do the wheels black

I have a TC cam that looks really aggressive and says "TC 924 National GNC" on it. anyone know anything at all about this cam> was it custom ground? is it tom carlson engine it came out of? what are the specs? can you still buy them and where?
basically i don't know anything about this cam except that it seems to make about the same power or a little better as a stage 2 hot cam and really comes alive in mid to upper range rpm's.
any help is GREATLY appreciated!
