painting plastic??

Is it possible to paint the hood of my blaster from red to lime green. If it is possible what type of paint would I use, like some kind of an acrilic? Thanks for your help!

I painted the hood on my 700 w/ krylon fusion. Its going on a year and holding up good still (few small chips from roost but nothing abnormal) I prepped it real good w/ scotchbrite and then laquer thinner to clean/degrease.

Hoods hold up fairly well w/ a good paint job. I wouldnt do fenders w/ paint though too much flexxing.

yea I decided not to do it because of money going into rebuilding the stupid motor but thanks for the advice if I decide to do it in the future!:devil:

My buddy painted his 5 years ago and stays on good. He painted mine about 2 years ago an put sum flex stuff in the paint an had no problems, an I ride alot of mountains and trials daily
