i have a 300ex and plan to rebuild the entire thing soon. and im striping it to the fram and was considering painting it . Should i paint it or powder coat it? its a trail bike so it takes some hits but i am not a rich person at 13. so i wound want a very derible (black) paint any ideas/prices???? thanks

talk to pappy about powdercoating, black powdercoat is almost bullet proof, its very durable

you will be better served having it coated. while there are paints available that can hold up well, they are usually quite expensive to buy and unless you have access to a paint booth(or know a painter) will cost you more in the long run.

i see painted frames daily, thats why they are here getting powdercoated:p

Now like how much would it cost me to get my frame and -arms done what sould i pay for a quilty job?

it really depends on the area you live in. prices for a frame run anywhere from $100 to $500 with an average around 175-200

check to see if there is a coater near you and swing in and chat with them, sometimes they will give you a decent deal to help out especially if your a kid and its a basic color.
