Some guys like twist, others like thumb... In desert races and some long distance races, you will have teams of guys racing one single quad. It is aimed mostly at these guys. So one guy can jump on and ride twist, and the next can do thumb. OR if you have ever had to push a thumb throttle for a really long time, sometimes it gets so bad that you cant move your thumb, just switch over to twist... simple.

Anyone know of a site where I can check one out? I like the exacting control of a thumb throttle but my thumb get tired sometimes.

I have one, the twist is great, however the thumb is kinda ackward. I don't like it too much, its huge too. But again, I only use twist throttes anyway.

I think it will be great. I switch from twist to thumb about every 2 months to try and see what one i like more.

I remember seeing a throttle once that was a twist that actually activated the thumb throttle. Don't remember if the thumb was stock or not. Anyone see one of these?
