Head Gasket Question!!!

Alright so i go to do head gaskets on my 250x and i dont see a gasket on the head, i do see some old gasket sealer it looks like some one put there, so i ordered a topend gasket kit and i dont seem to have the gasket

Its the gasket that goes on the head like where the cover goes on the cover with the rocker arms on it.

I looked at an OEM microfiche and it doesent look like theres a gasket there is this right im sure someone on here has done head gaskets.

Does anyone jnow maybe this does not have a gasket or what?? its a 91 250x and i need some info ASAP please guys help me out!

That's your valve cover. There is no gasket. You need to clean both surfaces and re-seal. I would use Yamabond.

thanks so much man i was like what the heck cause on my trx 200 it had a gasket when i did it and this one didint so yea ill just use some gasket sealer thanks
