I tried it on our last air cooled 90 and gave up to soon.
Now we are building a '08 watercooled 90 and want to get the kiehin PE24 figured out. On the last bike it seemed like the pilot jet was out of wack. It has like a 52 in it. Has anybody had any success with the kiehin? What is yours jetted at.
We are at 1000ft. in OHIO. I am really just looking for a starting point. I know how to jet them. The pilot jets that are in thee are diferent than all the others and we don't have them in stock. I hate to buy 6 - 5 packs of pilot jets just to figure out this one bike.
Thanks in advance for any help
Jay

Is that your experience or guess.
I know thats what the OKOs use, but not all carbs are the same.
PLus the kiehin website only shows those carbs going down to a 45.

im running a 42 in Haydens MK 70 with a 125 main should give you a good starting point.

The pilot is way to big ken is correct 40-42 pilot and the clip middle to one clip up from middle is a great start. You my only have to do minor adjustments at this point. This is a stock 90cc correct?
The MK 70 require more fuel thats why the jetting sounds close for your stock 90cc.

Thanks for the replies. Could you point me in the direction of getting that size pilot. On the kiehin site it shows them starting at 45?
This is the pilot that has the end cut off. I had never seen one like that.

Thanks but I found them.
For some reason keihin website states they start at 45, but I searched the model N424-32 and found them.

The whole starting at 45 on their website is what had me confused.
Thanks for the help
I will let you know how it turns out.
