450r shocks

Can you put 450r shocks on our 250r's?? I can get a good deal on some fronts. I'm trying to set up a TT bike. Thanks

you can but they do raise up the front a little and are stiff as hell. Get them revalved, and from what ive heard to do it right for TT, you need shorter shocks and the 450r shocks definitely arent shorter

450R front shocks with long travel a arms work great for ice racing so they should be just a good for flat track.

Thanks, I have some +2's.. I guess I need to just buy some shocks set up TT. I was looking to see if I could set this bike up for as little$$$ as I could. I really don't have a couple of grand right now to spend on shocks...I wish I did. I got a -2 no-link swinger. and I need a shock for that too. I'll keep ya posted.
